Ngilisho was established by the late Mr. Frank Giliard Mushi, whose grandfather bore the name Ngilisho. Mr. Frank conveyed to his children that the name Ngilisho originated from Masai land which means Hope. Commencing his electrical work in the early 1990s, Mr. Frank earned a reputation for providing high-quality services, resulting in a loyal customer base.
In 1991, he officially launched Ngilisho Electrical Contractor as a sole proprietorship in the Kilimanjaro region. In 2003 it was registered with the Contractors Registration Board (CRB) in Tanzania as a class 7 Electrical Contractor, since then the company has grown and became a class 2 Electrical Contractor in March 2024.
Incorporated in Tanzania and began to trade as Ngilisho Electrical Contractor from Kilimanjaro region.
Registered with CRB as Electrical Contractor Class 7
Established our head offices in Dodoma
Opened branches in Singida, Arusha, Tabora, and Shinyanga while maintaining the Kilimanjaro office as a branch.
Incorporated as a Limited Company and began to trade as Ngilisho Electrical Contractors Limited.
Upgraded with CRB to Class 5 Contractor in Electrical category
The death of the then Managing Director and Founder, the late Mr. Frank Giliard Mushi
Eng. Charles Frank became the Chairman of the Board of Directors & Eng. Adolf Frank was appointed the new Managing Director.
Held our first ever annual meeting to bring together employees and partners to announce the new leadership structure and chart a strategic path forward following the passing of the founder.
Opened office branch in Dar es Salaam.
Upgraded with CRB to Class 3 Contractor in electrical category
Passed 100 projects mark
Upgraded by Contractors Registration Board (CRB) to Class 2 Contractor in electrical category
